Clearly Trump is a diehard misogynist and terribly insecure. He's forever trying to belittle females, especially strong women. For Black women, he usually uses "low IQ" as his go-to epithet. In a nat

How much has Elon Musk's Doge cut from US government spending? https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cn4j33klz33o

I'll make something up. Fraud in Cali alone will be around $200 billion. This might be an underestimate when you look at the fraud in Minnesota. Child educational care centres (aka learing centres and people's houses) and hospice/home health care seems to be the popular avenues of gaining federal funds in Cali.

And I'm sure you have a trustworthy link to share with us confirming this rather than just what is being fed to you by Trump, Vance and Fox News?

We await with baited breath.

Panic buying. Good way to deplete stocks.

So no fuel shortage in Thailand. Just panic buying only.

In AU also there are queues. Panic buying there too?

Maybe it's a global thing now.

There's a new economic term being banded about- trumpflation- worldwide inflation caused by an idiot who didn't realise the first thing the Iranians would do is close the Strait of Hormuz.

Duh! Dumber and dumber

Last Monday, at another press conference, Trump claimed that a former president told him that he wished that he had taken action in Iran, but declined to name which one it was.

All four living former presidents deny having spoken to Trump about Iran since the war started, though the dead ones made no such claim, so it may have been one of them. Or maybe he was referring to former president 45, and was just talking to himself again:

"“I’ve spoken to a certain president, who I like, actually — a past president, former president,” Trump said earlier Monday at the White House. “He said, ‘I wish I did it. I wish I did.’ But they didn’t do it. I’m doing it.”

When asked to name the former president, Trump said he did not want to “embarrass him,” adding, “It would be very bad for his career, even though he’s got no career.”"

From the very article you quoted 'Hospice fraud is a nationwide problem. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General reported in 2023 that suspected hospice fraud amounts totaled an estimated $198.1 million.'

So where is this $200 billion you are talking about?

The surface has only just been scratched. You wait and see. Minnesota is huge as far as fraud goes so Cali will be a lot bigger.

So as I suspected, you don't actually know and are relying on a crystal ball to help you out.

Musk/Trump boasted of saving $2 trillion when they first started the DOGE fiasco and the actual numbers came to nothing near that but yet here you are YET AGAIN believing the nonsense that comes out of Trump and Vance's mouth. When will any of you Trump fans every admitt you've just been conned AGAIN? Just exactly how many times do you need to be sold a donkey before you finally believe the Emperor really does have no clothes?

P.S. I take it it's sheer conicidence that the only fraud going on is from Democratic led states. Funny that eh?

Another lie from Trump yesterday. He only mentioned Bin Laden once in his 304 page book, describing him as a shadowy figure.

But Bin Laden had already been targeted by US airstrikes in Afghanistan following the 1988 embassy bombings.

The CIA had a unit looking for him since the 1990s and he was on the FBI's ten most wanted list.

Notice how quiet JD Vance has been since the Iran attack began?

Maybe there is actually a high-level movement underway to remove Trump (legally), and maybe Vance is well-aware, so he just doesn't engage with anything going on lately. Afterall, if Article 25 was used to remove Trump, Vance would be sworn in right away, so he'd probably have been tipped off in advance of what was at play. Maybe this is just reading too much into Vance's unusual clambshell appearance, and maybe it's wishful thinking on my part. Mea culpa if so. (not a Vance fan of course)

Ah yes, the world’s most powerful man, now generously rebranded as global comic relief. At this rate, who needs Islamophobia anymore, when “Americanophobia” is shaping up to be the next big trend?

Yes, seriously, the world is starting to hate what was known as America... or the United States of America, and rightly so.

Despite being an obnoxious tub of lard Don,Don is right on Iran finish it' and wrong on Ukraine start it' and Netanyahu' is just magnificent on all fronts🤔

Oh, let’s give the “third world” a break for a moment—must be exhausting blaming them for everything—and turn our gaze to the oh-so-flawless “first world” instead.

After all, we now have a front-row seat to how the “most powerful man” conducts himself… truly a masterclass.

Quite right sir! Those pesky women with their voices and thoughts. How dare they presume to talk in the presence of men. The shear audacity of them!

Years ago, I was in Amman on a business trip, and was taking a taxi somewhere. The driver was Pakistani I think. When he found out I lived in Thailand. he asked: "Is it true you can make the woman your b!tch and then not pay her?"

I politely explained that wouldn't be a good idea as she may report him to the police who would make him pay twice as much and then they'd split that amount with the woman. (I left out the part that she might actually beat the crap out of him with her high heeled shoes and he'd end up in hospital..)

It's now clear that you don't know what I'll make something up means. Somewhat the opposite of factual. What is a fact though is that there is fraud in California concerning hospice/homecare/childcare.

And how is that related to the topic of this thread? Did the former president repeatedly insulted reporters and others?

Do you actually need me to explain how it's related?

I just find it incredible how so many people ignored the inept, useless old fool that was doing the job until recently. But now you're all suddenly talking about dementia and pdfs and corruption.

Perhaps it was because the inept useless old fool didn't heap the most malevolent abuse on those who didnt fawn upon his every word, didn't attempt to conduct a campaign of terror upon segments of his countries communities based upon good old fashioned racist bigotry and ignoring the law and constitution, attempt to use his justice department to go after all and any of his political opponents, or those responsible for convicting him of felonies, didnt lie constantly and blatantly, insult and bully his nations allies, crawl in obedience to Russia's dictator, threaten to invade and take Canada and Greenland, actively suppress the evidence of a paedophile scandal in which it is very obvious he was an active and enthusiastic participant, oh, and start a war which has cost the lives of thousands of innocents, is set to do massive damage to economies worldwide, including that of his own country, and from which the USA is going to find it almost impossible to extricate itself, and which they (the USA) are going to suffer the repercussions of for at least a generation.

People are funny really in letting silly things like that colour their views!

And what is a also fact is it's happening all over America but you and Trump/Vance are only interested in the blue states. That's called bias and especially egressious coming from a President who is supposed to represent ALL Americans.

It's also pretty obvious you don't know Brandolini's Law

It is important to recognise that the issue lies not in the terms and acronyms themselves or the validity of what they stand for, but in the derogatory context in which they are most commonly employed.

For instance, the acronym "TDS," standing for "Trump Derangement Syndrome," is not a recognised medical condition but rather an urban phrase. It is frequently used as a means to belittle or mock individuals with differing political views. Such usage is inherently derogatory and contributes to a toxic conversational environment, and is automatically filtered out.

I didn't say it wasn't happening all over America. I'm just saying in Cali it's going to be big. Fraud will be looked for in both blue and red states. Be interesting to see where the most is.
