Type O non imm visa onward ticket? (But Retiring )

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Moving back to Thailand in May & wondered....

Any recent experiences with getting the Type O Non Imm based on retirement from LA USA & the need for a onward/exit ticket?

My question is on the visa application they want the onward travel date & info.

Do I need to buy something like onward travel etc or can I just put in a date within the 90 day window?

I understand why they ask as the retirement visa is not guaranteed

But I have my bank already set & the 800k seasoned so do not see any problems.

So ....Just wondering as I do not want to buy a ticket I do not need & having lived there before I did not have problems leaving the USA last time but that was years ago

so I am wondering if a onward ticket (cheap at $18) is a good idea?

Anyone recently do the same?

Thanks!

I would just put ticket details within the 90 without proof of purchase.

Note with your eVisa the airline at departure will not ask for onward flight.
