No mention of Ray Jones sad passing away on Saturday on last nights Football Focus. But at least we got to hear about Solskjaer retiring and Chelsea's ' interest ' in Ronaldinho.............wouldn't have hurt them to mention it, but I guess as not Premiership they probably have never even heard of him.......by the way back home MOTD did the same thing on Saturday night and issued a letter of apology.....there are other leagues outside of the Premiership.............all Rangers player will wear shirts with Ray's name on the back Saturday and his number 31 shirt is being retired.........Ray Jones RIP

The only time that I've heard QPR mentioned on ESPN was last season when they had that brawl with the Chinese team during a friendly.

Sutch a sad loss that a young lad can lose his life so early. Roy Jones RIP.

Problem with ESPN is to them football didnt exsist before the Premeirship......bit lucky here in Pattaya we get Championship games on Sophon Cable....although I wasnt saying that at 4am last year when we losing 5-1 at Southend !!

I was brought up on Stan Bowles, 1st game was Burnely at home 72-73, my dad , a life long fan, took me , been 35 years of happiness / misery ever since !!

Hope this take over bid spells a new future for the Rs.

------------------------------------------

Bernie Ecclestone has confirmed he is prepared to join forces with Flavio Briatore in the planned takeover of Queens Park Rangers.

The Formula One boss and Britain's 20th richest man had initially denied any interest in QPR when the story was first revealed by Sportsmail, saying only if Arsenal were up for sale would he invest some of his £2.25billion fortune in football.

But yesterday Ecclestone admitted that he had indeed discussed the takeover at Loftus Road with Renault boss Briatore and 'might get involved'.

He said: 'Flavio has asked me about it and I'm giving it some thought. I'm just doing my day job at the moment but I might get involved.' Daily Mail
