I'm after a computer book (Laptops for dummies 2nd edition). Can anyone recommend a bookshop in Bangkok that may have it in stock.

I have already made one fruitless round trip from Pattaya in order to buy it(Kinokuniya in Emporium, Asia books in Sukhumvit and Chula bookstore in Siam Square none of whom had it in stock).

Where else can I try?

The large Japanese bookstore in the Siam Paragon has quite a large collection of computer books. I think its on the third floor.

Go to this site and search - they have two dofferent titles ref laptops for dummies - one you mention and another for fixing and upgrading
