We have started a business in Thailand importing products from Denmark aimed at the larger established bars and hotels and we have no competition. It is going good but it would be a runnaway winner if there was an organization or individual who could factor invoices or produce short term finance ( 6 months to 1 year) for our potential clients.

I know there is finance available for motor vehicles but I have not found any company that provides finance for other products. If someone wanted to set up such a company this is an idea that could really be profitable for them. Maybe there is a Thai law against this. Any good ideas out there?

Factoring is available here. Siam General Factoring comes to mind but there are others. I would be surprised if most local banks don't have some kind of subsidiary or division that does this.

Agree with Deke, most local banks will have a factoring division / subsidiary / associate. eg, Ayudhya International Factors, Thai Farmers Heller Factoring, as will some of the major leasing companies.
