Where To See Thai Boxing

Featured Replies

I have friends from home visiting and they want to see some thai boxing tonight. Any ideas for a good place to go? What time do matches usually start? I'd very much prefer somewhere that doesn't have a "farong price" also.

Ratchadamnoen Stadium on Ratchadamnoen Nok Road, is open Monday and Wednesday at 6:00 P.M., Thursday at 5:00P.M. and 9.00 P.M., and Sunday at 4:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.

Lumpini Stadium on Rama IV Road is open Tuesday and Friday at 6:00 P.M. and Saturday at 5:00 P.M

Sorry, if your farang you have to pay farang prices, even if a Thai takes you.

Ticket prices: 220, 440, 1000 Baht (ringside)

if you head out to channel 7 at mor chit bts on a sunday its free.

best to get there about 12:30, boxing starts at 13:30, this is the boxing you see on the tv on a sunday afternoon.

the place is usually full and has a decent atmosphere.

well worth the trip out, i usually go there while the mrs goes to chatuchak market.
