40 of the Suksasongkroh Maechan school' students just came back from Bangkok where they performed in a great concert.

The concert was the finale of a musical project done with Belgian musicians who came to Thailand to rehearse intensively with the students during two months.

The charity concert took place at the Sala Chalermkrung Royal Theater in Bangkok, and was attended by numerous members of the Bangkok high society.

Traditional songs were blended with western sounds, Thai melodies, rock or pop hill tribe compositions in a very creative and innovative way.

The work of these disadvantaged students has been rewarded by lots of pride and recognition.

Just to share with you some nice information that came up after the concert...

This musical project was a nice way to make the dream of many students come true, but it also opended new doors for them.

The violin group has been invited to play in various places and starts to make revenues by playing in private parties and hotels.

The rock band of the concert and the singers also caught the attention of one hotel GM who wants to help futher and give them new opportunities to play.

Last but not the least... The whole group might travel to Europe next year to perfom in Brussels.

It's not Hollywood yet but it is already a good step forward :o
