Details are on Ford [Thailand] web site.........

It is all in Thai, cannot read Thai so needs a Thai reader to read and post in English

For the 0% financing offer, it's 30% down and 60 months. It's in the fine print near the bottom.

It also looked like they have a hatchback Focus model... I never seen that one in the wild.. If they have it they sure manage to keep it exclusive. Would love to buy one second hand in a couple years at the to be expected down-the-toilet prices. :o (Cause as a car I don't think there's a whole lot wrong with the Focus.. it's rather nice actually, just Thais being conservative cun_ts and sheepishly keep buying Honda Civics and Toyota ... ? (I don't know, the Taxi model)

Well focus is the exeption with 0,99% p.a. But nowhere i see that it adresses expats. All ads are in thai, so unless ford is kind by nature, i think any foreigner would be expected to jump all the hoops, which are either thai guarantor/work permit etc..

i think the main goal of the promo, is to try to move their lame 4wds,pickups,suv's .. with focus being the only decent car in the range, albeit a bit outmoded by now, or maybe new focus is coming soon, who knows ..

The only decent promo i ever saw in SEAsia was few years back, when Volvo Malaysia was clearing it's old stock models before facelift, around 20% disc. across the board, for whatever they had left (not too much choice mind you).

Well, everyone who wants to loan money has to jump through hoops.. That's the nature of the game. Thais usually have to own some land of sufficient value.. Nobody handing out money just for a pretty white face. :o

But the checks they do are positively meaningless !

How else did my GF borrow 600k+ on a new truck with just some deposits made in an account ?

Which side of the jungle are you living in? I've seen hundreds of hatchback Focus models in Bangkok, and for many years it's been a best-seller in UK and Europe. Certainly nothing exclusive about it.

It won lots of awards and i would have seriously considered one, but they only started bringing it to Thailand as it reached the end of its life cycle. Looks dated. A cheap s/h buy might make sense, providing parts cost not too high.
