Big Fire Near Sathorn Soi 1 / Yenakard Road Soi 1

Featured Replies

it's burning here, from distance 500 meters, looks like a entire building is on fire, like a 2-3 storey one. not an appartment complex.

fire fighters trucks keep coming and coming. hear the sirens since one hour.

hope they get it under control that the fire don't jump over to other buildings, a lot of the fire fighter trucks ar just small pick ups. right now it keeps rising.

someone on the roof told me it's a empty building, i hope that is true. news about it are also on the radio.

Just waitig for my girlfried to come and collect some clothes and then i might have a look along there. Can you post any pics?

thanks god or whomever. it's under control now

before flames really have been 5-6 storeys high.i hear some explosions as well. now it's a much more smaller flame, and a lot of smoke.

hearing all the sirens was really frightening.

have one photo, i add a lot of brightness and contrast, that you can see something in the dark.

yes, it's over now.

thanks to the fire fighter and i hope nobody was hurt.

but seeing now the rescure teams leaving, many men standing on pick ups tracks, and taking a sharp curve right under my window, it's a wonder nobody fall of.

there is a fire station on yenakard road and i see/hear fire fighter trucks with sirens quite often and they really have to fight to get their way through the traffic, waisting important minutes here on the crossroad because of other stupid car drivers.
