New Year Eve With Western Food ... Where?

Recommended Posts

Who has good address for passing new year eve with entertainment and western (European) food ... if possible.. but at least NOT chinese food? A hotel would be nice, so can stay for night, not need to drive after but this is not a must. I also not want to be on the menu of the million mosquitos on Chao Praya river, so forget about cruising eve's :D . I know also the Oriental Hotel has such an evening but this is exceeding my budget :o

Suggestions welcome.

Maybe meet you there also.

The Huntsman in the Landmark puts on a NY eve's party that is well attended by various expats and their significant [Thai] others.

Thanks a lot .. will see more details.

Concerning other ...stupid... answer, I wonder how a member become "senior" member in few month? ...only because he published many post's ... mainly stupid comments and senseless thoughts..? No personal info on profile (these people like to comment and feel very smart ONLY in staying anonymous), should not get any status at all. As many readers of ThaiVisa only see "senior/advanced or other" member, they believe finding valuable information from these guys... but far away.. some are only some stupid farangs ruining the reputation of the other correct foreigners over here.

Gustave - get a life and stop being so bloody misserable. Topdogger was simply having a joke with no personal dig at you. Your response was like that of a 12 year old public school boy with no mates.

Its guys like you that give this forum such a dull reputation. Stop being so serious <deleted>!!!!

Cripes. Wherever YOU are going to be on New Years Eve, i will be sure to avoid. It will likely be one heck of a boring night.

I think that both you and Gustave are part of the reasons why it is sometimes quite entertaining to read the posts.

Most of the big hotels in the centre of town have a special buffet with entertainment on New Year's Eve. The entertainment varies a lot from year to year. You need to book a couple of weeks in advance. The ones I've been to are the Siam Intercontinental, Hyatt, Four Seasons and Sheraton.
