Best Muay Thai Stadium Bkk

Featured Replies

Me and my bloke are going to Bangkok this weekend. Want to take him to a really good Muay Thai stadium on Sunday. He is Thai so will know if it is good or not so want to make sure it is decent.

Can anyone reccommend? Thinking Lumphini Park, but have also seen that they have free fights at the Channel 7 stadium. Anyone been? Any good?

Thanks

the fights on Sunday night are at Ratchadamnern stadium and to be honest the weekend fights at the main stadiums are not so good, more like a feeder show to bring new talent through. The ch7 fights are good though, near chatuchak but gets very very crowded in there fights start there at 1345

or if possible come earlier and go to friday nights Lumpini show a lot higher standard of fights

Would love to be on my merry little way now, but unfortunately 30 hyper 4 year olds need my undevoted attention until the end of tomorrow!

Thanks for the info. Might give channel 7 a go - sounds like it could be fun. I guess get there as early as possible to make sure you get in?

Be warned. Two-tier pricing exists at all three venues. Foreigners can pay up to four times what a Thai would pay.

I just been to Lumpini....was quoted 1000 baht but none of those left so 1500 baht..almost 50 dollars and almost 7 times the Thai price....TIT

Yes, I too have experienced this two tier pricing.

Went with the missus to Lumphini and was charged 1500 baht for a ringside VIP seat. Speak a little thai, and must have said 10-15 times no VIP just normal price. Wife charged 200 baht.

She said no VIP is just standing ( which isnt true) - I said fine, but she still wouldnt let me buy the ticket, absolutlely refused to let me.

Quite frustrating to say the least, but all part of the fun.
