Outer Suburbs Of Bkk

Featured Replies

Hi, anyone know of any cable tv providers which work in the outer suburbs of BKK? I am moving out to sintawee on rama II and I'm keen to find a service which includes some kids/movies/sport channels and hopefully the australia network channel.

any ideas?

Cheers,

Nathan

ps: i realise this question has been raised in the past, but things change (hopefully in this case there has been a change as it is looking pretty grim so far :o)

we have cable in our street { Bangpagong- Bangboa area 42km on the road to Pattaya } the wife stopped it, but Im considering sattalite TV and internet, from 11,000 bt to 20,000bt Free to Air no monthly charge on top! and I will be able to pick up ABC Australia Im told with a free card. I think its with Jsat not shure, I just searched Google and came up with a very helpfull site with heaps of options........... good luck

As far as I know, UBC is all over the place. I think a call to them first might sort out the issue

Good Luck,

thanks for the suggestions guys, but i'm actually after a cable option (not satellite) - like banglamung cable or STV in Pattaya - you get 50 odd channels for about 200-300 baht/month, including Australia Network. I don't fancy the channels or cost UBC/True offer.

Cheers,

Nathan.

for anyone interested i found a company called STV and apparently they have a cable service in the area (360b/month plus 100b/month for an additional outlet) - I wont actually believe it until they have installed and i am watching but i am hopeful :o.

They have australia network and a bunch of other channels. i couldn't find anything about them anywhere on the web, so i guess they dont have a website or any listings anywhere but anyway, if anyone wants their phone number PM me, or maybe i can post it here? is that against the rules or anything?

Cheers, Nathan.
