Jim, Shiela and Klown (these are not real names) share a house together.

The klown and Jim are good mates, and Shiela just joined three months ago and has proven a bubble of utter joy and happiness. Jim and the Klown agreed that a secure household and tenancy is more important than anything and that the Klown should not in any way attempt to seduce Sheila. .

It is a jolly household, with shared duties, responsibilities, and house outings and parties.

During the House Christmas/klown's B-day party last night, all partied and a very good time was had by the three housemates plus lots of guests and friends.

at around 5am, everybody had drifted off, or passed out, and only Sheila and Klown were still vaguely alive.

You can guess the rest.

A better part of a day has passed since, and Klown finds himself very attracted to Housemate Sheila.

But not a word has been said about last night, and Klown doesn't want Jim to know.

Klown doesn't want Sheila to tell Jim, and mayhap nothing will be spoken of.

But Klown would do it again in an instant.

Well, either you will gain a new friend, a new girlfriend, or a new housemate.

But, after a couple of days, you should probably ask Sheila how she feels about the whole thing, and take it from there. If she is in to you, there is literally no way you can avoid it. If it's a one time thing, you will have to adjust yourself. If it is the former, there is no way Jim is not going to find out and you are going to have to tell him. At some point, the dust will clear, and you guys will either be moving out together or separately.

And, that's pretty much it.

firstly, well done to klown for getting some on his bday & 2ndly, klown should talk to sheila & if she is wanting to repeat the happenings & possibly move things forward then they should let Jim know that the balance has shifted.

They should also be discreet should things progress as there is nothing more annoying than living with poeple who are all over each other in your company

Be wherry of the " Birthday" factor. It may have been a one off, induced by the general happiness bit. A bloke who you may not know very well, may have slapped you on the back, gave you one of his prize Cubans and been full of "hail fellow well met", for the day, but a bit stand offish again the next morning in the office. The good lady may have thought " why not " on one day and may be feeling a tad sorry for herself the following.

I too had a similar scenario, many moons ago. At the time we agreed to be "<deleted> buddies" as we had both just come out of long term relationship's, she then moved the goal posts and wanted more, i didn't. Me and the girl no longer speak. Pity really, she was good

But frankly, my primary housemate has been good to me, and I have a vague0ish notion of karma, as I'm sure you do too.

One comment that came up earlier (same topic diff. forum) was that of (paraphrased): "when the other housemate finds out, he will suddenly admit to having had a 'thing' for her - despite the fact that he may or may not have - purely due to the fact that I do.

The truth is, I've now spent two evenings with her, in public company, sometimes alone in the liveing room, and sometimes with housemate number 1 or/and with other friends.

No intimation of a repeat has been issued - but I'm not actively seeking - on the contrast: we've been really friendly with eachother, she comes and chats with me, super jovially and I return the attention - But nothing more!

Yet, I feel attracted to her in a way that I've not felt for anyone in a long time. In fact - and I reckon the gals will get this better than the blokes - I wanna introduce her to me ma.

But, of course, nothing has been spoken since the night, and probably nothing will, as it was a drunken indiscretion.

I dunno.

I do KNOW.. - and I speak as a flirtatious bartender that I know I am - I do know that I'm thinking seriously about this one.

If memory serves, George's dabbling into roommate romances usually ended with an offer of a menage a tois with the third roommate. If that's not your thing, the standard fall back is "think of what George would do, and then do the opposite". The latter strategy seemed to garner him his best results.

Momma's like her son... she makes the most of ya for a few hours then buggers off into the sunset.

Only diff, is she knows when the sunsets.

update time.

I cooked her an awesome meal.

Yep,.... T'was one of those times when I judged everything just right.

A very light (and delkiciouas homemade pizza (slices) as a starter - proper thin aperitif style pizza.

Followed by:

A rump steak, marinated several hours in red wine, oregano, salt, pepper & olive oil.

with A light portion of Conchiglie pasta and tomato halves grilled with olive oil & salt and lemon topped with provincial herbs.

Accompanied with a delicious red wine

Copious anmounts of it.

we chatted and laughed and had not a nervous moment between us.. everything was going great, though we didn't speak of the other night, I knew that everything was going really good: The meal blew her away (she wolfed it down) and everything splendid.

Then housemate number 1 came home.

And we calmed out act, drank a c ouple of drinks with him, and chattde very amiably until he went to bed.

Whereupon she said she'd go to bed, but could handle one more drink...

three generous Bailey's later, I opened up like the schmuck that I am, and told her, quite frankly, that I loved the harmony of the household, and didn't want to pervade it, but, that I also really liked her - I went into a whole, and I think truthful monologue about how, as a bartender, I could sleep with almost anything, but that my feelings for her were more than that,,, How I thoroughly was enraptured by everything,,, from the hairs of hers I pluck out the sink to smelling her farts and loving her smile and giggly ambience,..... along those lines....(i know evry sad but then...)... she said much along the same lines, but re-iterated that we shouldn't spoil the household harmony...

After a while and more such cheesy chit-chat, I suggested that, "would you like a hug.. I know I would." and of course I was sat on the three seater sofa and she was sat on the one-seater so she had to come over...

And we hugged and cuddled and carressed, and we both dozed off in a very intimate huggy position. we ended up cuddling up on the sofa downstairs

until just now when she awoke...

Still not a kiss had passed between us.

I, in a groggy sleepy daze, kissed her neck - in a way that she thoroughly enjoyed and got a big smooch before she buggered off to her room.

And I'm now sat in mine.

hornier'n'hel_l but with no need to exert my wrist, for it ain't that kind of horn.

*sigh* I think I might just go to sleep.
