The House-mate Dilemma - With A Twist

Featured Replies

LaoPo - It's a bit presumptuous to say that a single bloke over 50 has something for which to blame himself. I am in that same position and believe me, I couldn't be happier. I have been down the marriage path, 'shacked-up' path, etc, etc. I love and have loved women, but I just don't want to live with them 24/7. My idea of a perfect woman would be one who shared my approach. Funnily enough, many of them will say they do, but at some point, every one who has said that to me has ultimately decided to search me for a commitment button. I had a mate who actually bought the house next door to his own in which he installed his lady. Worked well for a while - until she started insisting on being in his house all the time. He moved.

If I ever reach a ripe old age at which I am unable to look after myself, I will book myself into an old folks' home.

Ok, ok...I suppose there's an exception to every 'rule'. I don't know many people (just 1 or 2) who wish to stay and live alone without a partner

However, I was commenting to the particular guy I know and I am convinced that deep in his heart he really wants to be happy with a Lady...

A lot of single people have fear to share their lives with someone else, until the moment comes the butterflies settle in their bellies and go for it :o

Well, I wish you good luck and all the happiness in the world anyway.

Sorry Kayo, I don't want to hijack your topic. :D

Well, French has "reserved" me for Friday Night, although she had issues with her housemate, Irish.

It occurred to me that I've never had two girls fight over me before. It feels kind of funny, in all senses.

:D

:o

good lord boy you must be knackered :o

Ahh the antics of Kayo, its hard to keep up with ya lad!! Wish my life was that complicated :o

Or simple! :D

So, it's not the girls Kayo...it's you, until you find the right one. The question is, will that be before you hit 50 or after :D

Kayo will be living in Pattaya by then. :o

Thing is LaoPo... It's gonna happen again, with French, with others.... It's gonna keep happening.

Oh my...

Thought I should update this:

Right. The french lass and I have been hitting it off extremely well. Far too well actually. It's all lovey dovey at the moment.

I like her a lot. A Lot. And we are "official" like a couple-thingy, now.

We'll see where it leads.

I have officialy broken up with the Danish Girl from France. She took it rather well, considering. She was a lovely lady. And deserves better than me.

What was that stuff they gave the troops in the trenches during the First World War to curb their urges? Bromide or Bromine or whatever.....

I take it the pcis are of the Frenchwoman.

BTW whatever happened to the housemate lady? Is she OK and not feeling lonely and rejected?

Funny you should say that. Since I've started/reverted to "dating" women, so has my other male housemate. It so happened that last night, both of our current girlfriends came round to cook dinner; She (asian) for him and mine (french) for me... t'was a bit un-coordinated and my housemate and I were kind of looking forward to sitting back with a few beers while the respective gf's fought over our kitchen. :o

Instead it all worked out really well, and we ended up with some sort of fusion asian/french gourmet noodle type thingie...

But yeah, housemate lady sat around with us in the living room for a while, and it was all nice and sociable. But, I think she does feel a bit weird about it all. She, depsite our insistence, politely declined having dinner with us and went up to her room. Later on she just quietly came down to the kitchen and made herself some toast.

Throughout our Sunday daytime, however, the three of us had a really cool day. We jointly cleaned our house, had lunch, started building a shed, making alterations/improvements to our house, and had loads of laughs. So we've got a pretty tight household.

I dunno. She has plenty of men interested in her. She's being quite selective, and she knows it. That's entirely her prerogative adn I guess time will tell.

I know a guy in my neighbourhood who's proud he 'had' more than 500 women in his life; he's around 50, never married and a daughter from one of those relations... :o

Yeah those first two years in Thailand are always the best :D

So this french lass, right? She got me knickers in a twist, cos it's all going really well. (five or six weeks, now - probably my longest relationship in 5 or six years!)

Anyway, she's away from yesterday until the beginning of april.

Wagers anyone?

My first high risk night is tonight - Hosting a Hen party at the bar.

Well, I've not met you personally but from what I've read, I'll wager 10/1 you don't go the distance. :o
