Thanx for that. I did look them up on the net but only got BKK info

I wouldn't waste any bhatt on an LA bike......bought 4, for me, wife, 2kids and they were all junk...rusting in weeks and tires constantly going flat. in a year, gave them all away.

unless you are a tourist and want a cheap, temporary, disposable bike???

just my opinion....

I'm after one of those "stretch" models. A guy in the next village has had 1 for a year. Looks like new. He got it in BKK for 7,500 BT.

you can buy a giant , merida or trek for 8-10.000 , then you have a basic but reliable bike

depending of the angle of the headset and steer you can change your position a bit

i wouldn ' t advise anything else , unless if it is just to ride at and park in front of the bar

Thanks for the advice. I only ride around town - more than about 3 miles & the hills get too steep

There aren't any bars in our town.
