Hi all,

here a link .

What do you think? Would it work in Bkk? Like from an area with many Moo Bans to the next Tesco, BigC or other shopping mall? Between a sky train station and a sky scraper office building? Along Rajadamnoern Avenue and between major tourist attractions? Within some of the many dead-end Sois at Sukhumvit (or other major roads)?

When I ask would it work I mean the psychology behind it. Would people be ready to try? (I don't mean logistics - returning bikes etc. - or technology)

What do you think?

I wonder if the network is not already in place in the form of Motorcycle taxis. Would the threat to the jobs be tolerated? The traffic is also too indiciplined to be safe for a cylist especially on the bigger roads and the fumes and heat might be to much. In the rainy season it could help to keep feet dry though. We are not very good at system maintenance here, and I am sure that it would not last long. I like the idea though, did you know that there are bike lanes on some pavements? that could be expanded first.

It's too hot here.....it would work if you had airconditioned bikes.....also they would all disappear never to be seen again.
