Bangkok Casuals League 2004/2005

Hi Everyone,

On the off chance that there are any overweight beer guzzling, half time ciggy break footballers here who enjoy running up and down a footie pitch at 2 pm on a Saturday afternoon, being chased and then hacked down by their peers with or without the ball, then I like to give everyone fair notice that the Bangkok Casuals League 2004/2005 season will be getting under way in Late Sept / Early Oct.

15 teams this year. with 2 squads from Pattaya , 4 Pub based teams (Bulls Head, Londoner, Dubliner and Robin Hood) , 2 Teachers teams (Patana, Shrewsbury) and a gaggle of International squads (Scandinavians, French, Germans, Japanese), The British Club and a couple of others.

khunkwai. Sounds good. Just how casual is it? Whats the min to max ages? I might be interested in that but wouldn't be available till mid to late October.

I am a 21 year old from Australia arriving in Bangkok to study for a year in late January. I have been playing football all my life and want to continue playing in Thailand. What are the chances of finding a team when I arrive?

Sorry haven't passed by the forum for a while.

Min Age is 16, max age is limited only by a players ability to walk without assistance.

The season starts Sept 1 and will run through to the end of June. Arriving in mid season is no issue (no transfer deadlines) and teams are always on the look out for fresh legs.
