I feel a little bit frustrated using my Windows Live Hotmail.

8 times on 10 it happens that:

• It appears in a yellow screen the information that I have to allow cookies, but I did this already and several times. The only way to go on my inbox is to hit the blue-back-arrow on the left-top-part of the screen.

• I read a received message and then I close the Live Hotmail. When I reopen it, the message I read already, appears in bold and as not read yet.

• I cancel a sent or received message and then I close the email. When I reopen it, the message is still there as if I would have not canceled it.

• While I am surfing some time the Messenger informs me that I have received a new message. I stop what I was doing and open the inbox but the message just announced is not there and I have to repeatedly hit the inbox-command to get the new message and the exact situation of my inbox.

• When I prepare an email using “my documents”, then I “copy” it and then I open my email and I ”paste” it in the email window, it appears identical to the original I wrote in “my documents”. But the receiver gets it with more spaces between the lines where I have hit the “enter” button to start a new sentence. I have controlled it by sending emails to myself. It happens only with the pasted emails, because when I copy and paste a document in another place, for instance in another of my documents, this does not happen and only for the help I received from the Thai Visa Senior Member “wpcoe” I have learned to copy the email prepared in “my documents” and paste it into the “notepad” Then I have to copy the document in the “notepad” and again to past it in the email window. Doing so the extra spaces do not appear.

Does something of similar happen to somebody else, any suggestion please?

Thank you.

I got sick of it after 10years of the same email address at hotmail.  I switched to gmail and moved my mail to the desk top using the POP3/SMTP which makes life much better.  I use Kmail application  the windows application is outlook which has all the same stuff.  If your at another PC you can still use the gmail account web based like you do hotmail and get copies of that mail downloaded to your PC later.  You can keep the hotmail address just to use messenger.
