January 13, 200818 yr Try this link, http://www.clickthai.de/Land/Karten/download.html you should get what your asking for. If it is your first time driving in Thailand you should book a flight, its a lot safer!
January 13, 200818 yr Author Thanks for the reply. Not my 1st time driving in Thailand so feel confident on that front without be overly so.
January 13, 200818 yr Thanks for the reply. Not my 1st time driving in Thailand so feel confident on that front without be overly so. Good roads, some dual highway (on way out of Krabi) and from Phangna to Phuket. Rest is fast 2 way country roads. Well sign posted to Phuket. Expect drive less than 3 hours driving at speed limits (110 kph of dual and 90 kph on country). Easy enough drive.
January 14, 200818 yr Easy and pleasant drive.. But hiring in one place and dropping at another is not possible with the smaller rental companies.. Dont even know if Budget / Hertz etc do that here ??

Well I would disagree ; we hired a Susuki some years ago from a small business opposite The Boathouse and drove to Krabi where they collected the car two days later; no extra charges for that either.
January 14, 200818 yr A high season only ferry goes from Nang to Phuket, in case anyone's interested. I think they may even pick up from Railay. Lovely part of the world.
