However, some of these people, not all, feel that to fit in with their new crowd, they need to throw insults and mud at TV, particularly Bedlam and some of the posters and mods in here. I have access to the members area of that other place and am aware of a lot of the rubbish posted there.

It is something I thought too, it has amazed me why the other place has accepted waifs and strays, (complaints, annoyance, grouse and disease ) et al, it surely undermines their position.

It's the difference in modding policies between the two that is responsible for "the difference in clientele".

Some people prefer the policy there and some people prefer it here. Modding policies shape the forum and attract different types.

I poke my head around the door sometimes over there but haven't for a while. At first, I found the idea of an un-modded board quite appealing but have since come to the conclusion that it's a haven for the adolescent-at-heart.
