Where is best area, ie hotel, and bars etc for a Brit visiting Pattaya for a month

Ignore the nonsense about German and Arab areas. You won't have problems in either.

The Woodlands, Green Park & Sunshine Gardens are all nicely located near the 'Dolphin Roundabout'

You wouldn't get as much as a dirty look from a German or someone of Middle Eastern descent unless you were being an idiot.

There is lowlife of every denomination in Pattaya. It would be disingenuous to suggest otherwise.

Check out Welcome Plaza Hotel 2nd Rd opposite Royal Garden...room rate about 600 baht and gets good reviews Large swimming pool and close to Pattayaland.
