Need A Decent Hotel Near River City Pier

Featured Replies

I'll be taking my mother and partner on one of these dinner cruises on the Chao Phraya Princess which departs from the River City Pier. Most of the hotels that I know of are out of my budget range. Need a triple room for around 3,000 Baht with easy access to the pier itself. Any ideas?

I take it, from lack of response or you guys living in Bangkok have no idea where the River City Pier is? Oh, come on you guys!

:o

no, I know several piers, but not exactly where this one is.

Also: as such its a non-issue, taximeters are so cheap and can seats 3 easily (even for 1 its cheaper as a London bus ticket...), that there is not any need to stay that closeby to walk. And many of those dinnercruises, IF booked via local agents (in any hotel) have a free bus to collect you and bring back

It's next to the Royal Orchid Sheraton. Also in that area are the Shangri-la and the Oriental, but it's highly unlikely any of them are in your price range.

The Bossotel is right the other end of that range, probably too cheap.

Asanee is right - the Chao Praya Princess will send a vehicle to pick you up included in the price if you are near one of the pickup areas, or else a little bit extra if you're not.
