Sand Fleas

Featured Replies

I want to know if there are a periods or the sand fleas proliferate or, if we can find it all the year on the beaches at KPN :o

By the way you frame your query, it seems you wish to locate sand fleas.

Koh Phangan, as you may know, is home to the rare "Circus flea," which is incidentally found on the sandy beaches of the island. You may wish to contact SBK on this issue as she is known as the foremost flea trainer in Southeast Asia. Virtually all fleas swinging on the tiny trapeses of the world's flea circuses are not only from Koh Phangan, but were trained by SBK.

SBK has also begun specializing in training "attack fleas" as body guards for the numerous celebrities that are sneaking into the mini archapelego to buy land illegally. Some of these fleas, rumor has it, have escaped the training camp, having come under the negative influence of some illegal Burmese fleas, and are at this very moment roaming the beaches, biting the living daylights out of soft white-skinned tourists.

I might add that these hellbend fleas are getting even worse as they get a taste for intoxicated full-moon partiers....

Drunken AWOL attack fleas...Pull up your socks and hope for the best...

:o Nice try Mark, but unfortunately sand fleas aren't really fleas, they are flying bugs.

But I liked the trapeze imagery :D

Yes, sort of. Maybe we should be saying sandfly.

By the way, these are not bugs. True bugs (from the Order Heteroptera) are the only "bugs" in the insect world. A grasshopper, for example, is an insect, not a bug. Bug is the layman's term for insect, but whereas all bugs are insects, not all insects are bugs.

:D
