Did you get any off-line responses to this ? Sounds like it might be a good course.

However... I think they will struggle to get 10 applicants at such a location. What

are the 'long term' accomodation options like at Maha Sarakham ?

Yours is the first response.

I'm not that familiar with Mahasarakham but I have spent some time in Khon Kaen and long term there is good. There are a couple of hotels in MH that seem to be reasonably priced. I'm not sure of the rental market.

Maha Sarakham has two universities and several colleges and has a lot of student-type accommodation. There is also a small rental market in flats and larger houses. Hotel options are wider than they used to be ranging from the Western-standard Taxsilla down to many small cheap places. I don't know anything about this course, but one interested twist is that Mahasarakham University used to be an outpost of Srinakharinwirot before it achieved autonomous status. I don't know if there is an arrangement where MSU allows its former parent to run this course on MSU premises or if the two are now in competition. The other local university is the Rajabhat. Sarakham is growing and has more going for it than many on here suppose, not least a large student population who like to get out and about.

P.S. Looked at the course webpage out of curiosity and didn't see any mention of Maha Sarakham. It looks like the course is in BKK. Did you perhaps assume the location was MS because of an old webpage with a reference to that branch campus from years ago?

I think you're right. The address is in Bangkok. Oh well, nice idea.
