That is pretty good.

I think you could have benefited from bracketing,

say 1/4 second and 1/16th second to see what difference it makes.

Some of the larger lights are flaring, which tends to spoil the effect.

Thanks a lot Astral

I am not sure my dear old Sony has got this feature .... and not sure I would even know what to do with it :o

Thank you “Who, me?

Nakon Pathom - Phra Pathom Chedi I think? :o

Never did that one at night. :D

I do enjoy taking these sort of night shots, but I keep away from bright lights as “Astral” mentioned.

Yours was a hand held shot?, not very easy to do. I use a Tripod with remote control on shutter speed set up, and take a few shots on different settings to see which one is good, but having said that, not an easy photo to take.

Thanks once again for sharing your photo.

Yours truly,

Kan Win :D

P.S. Back after traveling 5,000 kms up and down Thailand.

Right, Nakornpathom, Phra Pathomchedi

I used to live 200 m far from this place, and this shot was made during the "Pagoda Fair". At that time, the Pagoda is really beautiful. I happened to have my Sony cybershot DSC L1, and I took this shot (yes hand held). I am a real amateur, and have absolutely no knowledge about the art of photography. A bit of luck on this one I guess.

Anyway, your comment as well as Astral's one are very much welcome and noted

I am planning to buy a better camera to see if I can do something....interesting, let's say !

I'd be glad to post some pict, if they are not too terrible....

Cheers all
