Gas Hobs Where To Buy.

Featured Replies

Anybody know where to buy western style kitchen gas hobs, seen a few in Home Pro and the place next to Boontavorn, appreciate if anyone could recommend anywhere else.

Thanks.

When i'm in Bangkok i stay at a hotel near Suttissan Underground station, just along from the hotel is a row of large stores selling kitchen and bathroom stuff. I am sure you will be able to find something nice there. If you do go by underground, leave the station at the Police Station exit and turn right, it's only 2-3 minutes walk from there.

Nidge.

Thanks, I'll give it a try next week.

Electrolux have showrooms in Central Bangna and New Pechburi Road, and probably in other Central stores.

Smeg has a showroom on Sukhumvit road near the Phra Khanong BTS Station.

Both have their products displayed in Home Pro & Home Works, though perhaps not as full a range as in the showrooms.

Good luck, and don't forget to ask for a discount if you are buying from the showroom. They price the same as elsewhere, but pay cash and you can get a discount.

Prices and monthly sales should be the same everywhere as the major name manufacturers seem to set. I found smaller shops to be better about cash discounts, installation services, throw in some free pots and pans, and other indirect discounts.
