My friend is coming over for a week from India. I suggested to enter by visa on arrival. I know that the fees is 1000 Bt.

Does the immigration officials only accept Thai baht ? In such a case, does one have to convert USD to THB before immigration ?

Are there exchange counters before immigration ?

Thanks..

Bring Thai baht and 2 passport photographs. He is covered. That visa is 15 days but he'll have to show his confirmed outbound airticket.

US dollars will do, as there is a machine that converts currency

just in front of the Visa on Arrival section in Terminal One.
