I think you'll be sorely disappointed with what you are offered. The wheel and tire stores are filled with OEM wheels and tires. I went through that years ago and although I don't remember how much I got, I do remember that it was very little.

Yes, I found it wasn't worth changing out the OEM set, so I waited 50K kms before I got a new set. The OEM set is adeguate unless you are racing your pickup. I know they don't look much but they do the job.

Agree with Gary that you won't get much for the OEM wheels. May I suggest another option: Keep the OEM wheels and swap out the OEM tyres. I swapped out the OEM tyres (I didn't think too much of them) and put on some larger Bridgestone Duelers. They fill out the giant wheel wells on the Triton much more than the OEM tyres. I think it looks much better, and I didn't have to worry about sub-prime quality wheel copies. I've seen some Tritons with BF Goodrich offroad tyres and they look pretty nice, if you're into off-roading maybe that's a good route to go.

Yes, I think the 265 tyres will be able to replace the standard 245's.

hey i got four wheels, 16" triton 4x4 wheels, and the tyres that are oem.

the tyres are 245'70'R16 i am wondering how much they would sell for?

they are in good condition with no more than 25,000km on the clock. the tyre ware is minimal, their is plenty of tread left.

im planning to purchase offroad rims from http://www.weekendhobby.com/sale/question....=2&id=33440 they are wellpriced.

They give 15-20 for a new set of take offs if trading up, when used id say 10-12,.

a 1000bhat new? from mitusbishi????

http://www.weekendhobby.com/sale/question....=2&id=33440, what do u recon of those offroad rims. i would like to keep 16's, with an offset.

10-12,000 for rims and tyre....dayummmmmmmmmmmmmm :o so if i get an 8 offset 16" offroad (rockcrawler) rims, at 2200bhat a pop...., how much would all 4 tyres be to outright buy them, im guessing size 265, 285...., (im just tring to figure out how much it would cost to buy the tyres and wheels, minus the trade off)?

I don't have experience with pickups - though I traded some 15"/195 up to 17"/215 - they reduced the price from 32000 to 28000 or so. So that's only about 1000 baht per wheel/tyre. The wheels were pretty much perfect, while the tyres still had a bit or tread on them (maybe another 10K kms).

So you could get practically nothing for trading in, I think. Even when I traded in my old 215 tyres for new I only got 500 baht for the lot! lol.

They will give f-all for your old gear. Just replace with bigger tyres or take the kit and do the trade it.
