I am trying to get help from Microsoft Excel with easy and repetitive calculations for a gasoline station.

Let me say that in the line 2 I have to subtract from the amount of cell C2 (50), the amount of cell D2 (45) and get the result (5) written in the cell E2

I write 50 in the cell C2 and I write 45 in the cell D2, then in the cell E2 I write the formula =C2-D2 and the number 5 appears.

But when the next day I have to repeat the same type of calculation on the next line 3 and subtract from the amount of cell C3 (70) the amount of cell D3 (60), to get the result (10) in the cell E3, it is not enough that I only click on the cell E3. No, I have to rewrite in the cell E3 the formula =C3-D3

I suppose that a powerful program as Excel does not require every time the rewriting of the formula and I am afraid that I am not making the correct procedure.

I would be grateful for a help

Thank you in advance!
