Taiwanese must get a visa before entry to Thailand, but Taiwan citizens can get any category of visa.

Visa on arrival are issued by Thailand only for a maximum stay of 15 days, to p/port holders of 14 countries as listed by thaiflyer1, above.

people from Taiwan, talk to:

Thailand Trade and Economic Office

No.150 Fuhsing N. Road, 7th Floor Taipei 104,

Tel : (8862) 2712-1882, 2712-1867, 2712-1946, 2719-5597, 2719-8367

Exec. Director

Tel. (8862) 2712-7784

Fax : (8862) 2713-0042

as R.O.C. has no diplomatic relations with Thailand above office

There is a further list of 39 (?) countries that are allowed a 30 day exemption , enabling them to enter Thailand without prior obtaining a visa..........you/ll be from one of these countries i assume. (30 day on arrival stamp ).
