I need to get out of my tree more, and for some for the last 2 months I need to say sorry. As Kawasaki (Thailand) is indeed stopping/stopped selling the Kawasaki KLX300R in Thailand.

For some weird unexplained reason the Kawasaki KLX300R was still printed for all this time on my monthly price list, so I assumed it was still available.

The reasoning of not “anymore” offering the Kawasaki KLX300R for the Thai market is, the model is marketing technical not a good. Especially with a much cheaper Kawasaki D-Tracker 250 (250cc) coming in a month (maybe two). For the color freaks they come in Yellow, Blue and Black. For me, I said no Kawasaki green, bummer.... No, Kawa green is not on the planning...

What is the model of the KTM, not forget that most KTM's Dirt bikes are 2-Strokes. Which is super great if you a dirt guy, but less good if you do road work.

And yes, the KLX 140 is softly replacing the KLX110, so yes they sell it. But what the price is.... I have (at the moment) no idea.

Kawa 250

The price is??

Sorry guys I not make prices, I'm just a stupid guy somebody hire if something needs to get fixed. But I belief that there "official" introduction schedule is similar to the Kawasaki Ninja 250R and prices are very similar......

Of course I can tell that may services are not longer needed, after 2 months.....

I read yesterday that the KLX 250 will be here in Aug for 170k on road.. I can see a few of those being sold with a real support / supply chain etc.

I went and dug up what I read.. Report on a visit to BKK Kwaker HQ..

Well, enough of all this bullshit, the facts......

The KLX 250's will be arriving in August, 170,000 baht

Registration extra but is only about 600 baht. (yes 600)

So have ordered 2 of these.....

The KLX 140's will be arriving in July, 75,000 baht (have put 1 on hold)

You cannot get these bikes regestered, (through Kawasaki that is), and only for the local market, you are not allowed to export these.

The GTR 1400's will be arriving in August, 800,000 baht

2 year unlimited warranty.

The Vulcan 900, Custom (black) and Classic (black) available now, 460,000 baht

If you want a blue Custom (which I am interested in, 3 months wait), have put 1 on hold.

Farang's can get hire purchase, even without a work permit.

At the Motor Show interest rate was 4.50%, now it is 5.00%

They offered me a test ride, which I will do on when I return in 10 days time.

Thanks for that LLOS

That is exactly what I was looking for.

Does anybody know of a place in or around Pattaya where I can order a KLX 140cc, price seems ok.

Regarding the reg, Im guessing the bikes are srictly off-road, I have seen many people riding them to the tracks / off-road and the police do not seem to mind, Can these bikes be confiscated it they are caught on the road?

KTM have a vast array of 4 strokes ( actually more than 2 strokes ) varying from 250 to 990 cc,..if someone is looking at a ktm the chances are its for off road for which a klx110 wont really do the job, well certainly not for me at 90 kilos :o
