Any feedback on Bollywood, by Index?

Had two verbal assessments from two sets of people that don't know each other.

One said it was the best Indian food they had had in Thailand, but, it wasn't cheap.

The others said it was nothing special and it wasn't cheap.

Definitely needs someone to check it out and give us the skinny on here.

Bollywood is quite good, prices are pretty normal for a curry in Phuket, well worth a visit but probably not a special trip.

any good coffee shop open @ 8:30 around chalong circle with wifi?

Wanted to go to that cercex? place but they open 11

The Sandwich Shop(pe) on Chao Fa Rd East near to Wine Connection used to meet your requirements although it's quite a while since I was there and the place changed hands (Khun Woody used to run it). I'm not too sure if it's still the same format

A friend just introduced me to Flip Side on Rawai beach road. Good place for burgers, sandwiches and beer. They have an assortment of Belgian, American and other imported beers, in bottles, in the cooler. (e.g. at least 5 different boutique-label IPAs I had not heard of) I will get back over there some evening to sample some of the beers!

Coffee Tribe about 50m from the circle on your left heading towards the pier. Good coffee, sandwiches, salads, as well. They will be moving down to Rawai at the end of the month & hopefully an expanded menu with some of the Thai dishes they show on their FB page.

question is, is it better than the green tamarind?

I reckon is at least on par with GT plus you can actually eat the whole burger with your hands without it falling apart.

IMO, Green Tamarind has the best burger in Rawai. But Flip Side is good, and gets first prize for its beers. (selection of craft beers from around the world)

Honorable mention to GT, though, for having Beer Lao. smile.png
