Kawasaki W650

If there are any owners of the Kawa W650, or if anyone has access to a legitimate (green booked) example, can you say whether the frame and the engine numbers are supposed to be identical?

First Kawasaki's not have identical frame and engine numbers. Second to the frame number, all modern Kawasaki's have a 17 digit VIN (Vehicle Identification's Number).

I belief that I can go back as far as 1966, before that Kawasaki motorcycles where Meguro Motorcycles.... And Kawasaki only made Airplanes...
