Thanks for the snaps - just went outside and had a look - still there. I've never noticed it before.

Happens from time to time - caused by small ice crystals in high level clouds.

The last one I saw in Pattaya was at night with a ring around the moon.

Was around the moon very distinctly last night..

My buddy was saying this was very visible today but I missed it..

Tell them no, it's a tsunami warning.

It can actually mean that another cyclone is coming, or hurricane or tropical storm, caused by thin high clouds around the periphery of the storm system.
