Professional Burglar Brought to Justice

On Friday morning Sattahip police held a press conference in front of the station to announce the arrest of a 25-year-old Thai male on burglary charges. In front of the accused man, who works as a motorbike taxi driver but allegedly makes more money robbing houses of valuables, was an array of allegedly recovered items including a notebook computer, mobile phones, wristwatches and the sum of 200,000 baht in cash.

Police say the man has been operating as a burglar for the past two years but what gave him away was a pair of shoes.

At a number of his victim’s places the motif on the sole of his shoes had been noted and during a routine check an alert policemen saw the arrested man wearing similar footwear. Police then checked the man’s residence and uncovered an Aladdin’s cave of stolen goods.

Why he would have kept all the evidence?

To busy? :o The poor man had 2 jobs to hold down.

His financial success led to his demise. Instead of wearing a cheap pair of thongs without any designer label on the soles, he went upscale and bought those fancy brand named sandals. Next time, wear those cheap, no name thongs that all of the other mobike taxi drivers wear and you should be able to avoid capture.
