Im currently at work overseas at the moment and i was speaking to the misses over the phone about getting a landline and internet connection fitted into our new house in Sangka. She told me that she has been to see the chaps at TOT and they have told her a good package will cost 2500 baht per month.

Can anybody give me a heads up on any other companies out there with good packages or if this package is any good? Also if this is a decent package doe's anybody have any info on what speed this connection offers. Anything at all please i am clueless to this internet lark.

There are a lot of cheaper options. Currently I'm with T&TT Max net running at around 2,048 but mine is expensive at 2,480 a month because I run 5 computers off it. It is the quickest I-net cafe in Surin though. Very good. A friend of mine has Max-net too, and I think he runs at 1,024 and he pays a fraction of what I do on a single com. Call in at the T&TT office ( up by the water tower) and inquire. The only problem may be living so far from Surin centre. I'm sure you will get more and maybe better advice as the thread wears on.
