Obviously, this is a survey of American guys but well, I suspect British and European guys will be similar:

Identify your penis size according to the average rubric most condom companies follow. Here are two charts created from a Lifestyles 2001 study. Facts are sourced from Wikipedia’s article “Human penis size“.

The study found that the average penis length was 14.9 cm (5.9 in) and the average circumference being 12.6 cm (5.0 in)- see chart below. 401 college students volunteered to be measured during 2001 Spring Break in Cancún, Mexico, of which 300 gained an erection to be clinically measured (without pharmacological aid). The 300 effective measurements makes this study double the size of any prior study that uses medical staff to measure penis size.

Yes straight away, but it does seem a pretty fair representation of the fact that on average Americans have very small dicks.

Average penis length 5.5 - 6.5 inches.

Ideal (perfect) size according to women 7 - 8.5 (a length larger than 98% of those surveyed had)

Average girth (circumference) 5 inches.

Ideal (perfect) size according to women 6.25 - 6.75 (which, according to the chart, is larger than about 99% of those surveyed)

Interesting to note that about 25% of those college students couldn't get it up for the survey (without "pharmacological aid")

I will say I read the article, saw the irony of the entire thing then looked at the graph and had a good laugh. It's just too funny that the whole thing is about penis size and then look at the graph!
