What are the immigration rules and reporting requirements for retirees when changing residence from one province to another? Is the extension of stay valid until expiry date, or must a new stamp be obtained in the new province?

No new stamp needed.

Just make sure you report your new address to the local immigration office, or the local police.

Your new landlord will also need to report your arrival.

Then carry on with your normal 90 day reporting at the new location.
