15 and 16 year old necklace thieves caught following snatch from New Zealand Tourist.

On Wednesday Morning, Police Lieutenant Santiporn from Pattaya Police Station made his way to Soi 7 off the Tepprasit Road in Jomtien to follow-up on reports of a necklace snatch involving a tourist from New Zealand, Mr. George Pettroff aged 35. He explained to Police that he was driving his Platinum Motorbike in Soi 13 off the Pratamnuk Road when two young boys drove up beside him and the passenger reached-over and snatched his 18 karat Gold Necklace worth around 14,000 Baht. Local Police and Volunteers were able to track the two young suspected thieves and arrested them at their house in the Pratamnuk area. The suspects aged 15 and 16 confessed to the theft and will be processed in accordance with the law.
