Sorry mate,

I opened the door, then I closed the door... I like the outside but then it stops...

The salesgirl was slightly shocked... Did not even sit down inside and I was seriously looking to buy then...

Now I have the new Jazz...

We have a Tiida (the wife's car). I would say it is extremely nippy (i drive a fortuner so i have to be very careful when i use the Tiida), has great handling. Very comfy inside. I don't particularly like the suspension (probably because i'm used to the Fortuners) but it doesn't seem any better or worse than the Mazda 323 we had. All in all an excellent car, value-for-money, and we are very happy we bought it. Whether it's any better or worse than its competitors i wouldn't know. Being E20 also helps right now.

I would say a good car and very roomy inside, but just a bit over-priced.

I think the pricing was an intentional move to try and appeal to a different market from the Jazz/Vios/Yaris, which Nissan felt they couldn't fight against. Shame because i think in the hatchback guise, it really could have hit sales of Honda and Toyota harder than they think.

The salon version which they have just renamed something silly like Fellatio, is now being sold at a reduced price, so i guess would make a good buy, but it does look pretty awful.

Well mate, you drive what you like. Up to you

I rented a Jazz for one day, I rented a Yaris for one day, I rented an Altis for one day, I rented a Tiida for one day, you see I gave them a bigger chance than you, just opening and closing the door.

I bought the Tiida Latio 1.6 G E20 Auto, reduced price from 749k to 715 (tax reduction - which Toyota does not seem to apply - was considering Altis)

I have it for just one week, so early days, but drives niecely, coming from a monstruous 3.5 4x4 Vigo

I almost bought a second hand Teana though: 2.3 V6 full saloon, but at 800/900K drinking 10l/100kms full petrol I'll wait 3 years for

the E20 version at that price iso the 1.450.000 baht.

Edit: forgot to mention I got the price down with an other 30K paying cash, after selling the Vigo.

Jazz driver for 3.5 years and quite happy with the old one. Had a look at the new one, not impressed at all and bought the Tiida instead. Great test-drive (sales girl almost got sick in the car :o ) and cannot wait for the delivery end of the month!
