Security Lights

Featured Replies

Hi,Do you no wher i can buy some security lights I am looking for the ones with a sensor on which come on as soon as the beam is broken.

Regards

150 watt tungsten halogen lights with a sensor on them are available from Home Mart, Home Pro, Home Works and nearly every electrical shop in the high street.

Very good value at around 750 baht each, I have 7 around the house and they have never failed even once.

Failing is one thing - how many times have they lite up as a lizard walks across the sensor? I have not used sensors here for many years so perhaps that problem has been resolved but it used to be a serious concern for home alarms.

They seem to have cured the small animal thing problems and they don't nuisance trip on now except maybe when the wind moves a palm frond on one of the many trees around. It seems like it has to be quite big and move quite a lot to get the lights attention.

Mostly I have mine over concrete so not many trees can grow there.
