Not sure how many of you are a fan of footie. This topic has absolutely nothing to do with Thailand but I'm just interested to know who should be in the current world's best XI.

Just be fair and don't include too many English players. My team is doubtless classy and I'm certain any team on the planet would have difficulties playing against them. I use a usual 4-4-2 for the team.

GK : Giunluigi Buffon (Italy) - the most expensive goalie signed by Juventus for a whopping 32 million pounds. Hardly makes blunders.

DR : Carles Puyol (Spain) - very consistent and can play in many positions. Man Utd have failed to lure him away from Barca on several occasions.

DC : Rio Ferdinand (England) - big, strong, quick and can read the game well. Probably the best defender in the Premiership.

DC : Alesandro Nesta (Italy) - regarded as the world's best defender.

DL : Roberto Carlos (Brazil) - exceptionally powerful and very fast.

MR : Clarence Seedorf (Holland) - indispensable to both Holland and AC Milan. His powerful shot is a nightmare to any goalkeeper.

MC : Patrick Vieira (France) - defensively minded with incredible strength & passing. Obviously the best defensive midfielder at the moment.

MC : Ronaldinho (Brazil) - flamboyant, creative, with brilliant dribbling skills & can score fantastic goals frequently.

ML : Pavel Nedved (the Czech Republic) - never lets teammates down. Very dangerous in the box.

FW : Thierry Henry (France) - scores goals very regularly but not for France. Some say he has yet to play the best of his football.

FW : Adriano (Brazil) - like Ronaldo but much stronger & better in the air. Now the hottest property in Series A.

How can you not include Ballack ?
