I've just set up a company and now I want to apply for a work permit and a one year visa. First I have to go to Penang to apply for a 3 months non immigrant b visa. What do I write in the papers to the Penang embassy? And must I translate this document into Thai before I go to the embassy?Where in Phuket do I go and how much do they charge me for a work permit. And where do I go to extend my 3 months non immigrant b visa into a 1 year visa, and the charge??

Hi Mate,

Normally you'd use the same company that registered your company, it's all part of the same process so they should offer the service. For the entire work permit process you should expect to pay around 20,000 baht, not including leaving the country expenses and other related costs.

I'm not expert so this is just rule of thumb!
