Seat Alhambra Opinions Please

Featured Replies

I'd like to consider a SEAT Alhambra when I get my Thai DL. Anyone happens to own or to have owned one before ?

I understand it's a Ford Galaxy in disguise; and it actually runs on a VW engine. How reliable is the car ?

As far as I remember they had some problems and that joint venture Car was one of the worst Van's in there time. But it did depend on the year they where built. Later Modells where more reliable then the first years. It also depends on the engine they used. Some where from VW and some from Ford. If you do a search on the net you should find many reviews of owners.

Yes, I did. Most reviews are favourable except of the interior plastics which are less sturdy than hoped.

But this being Thailand, would really like to hear 1st hand experience from owners/ex-owners.

All I know is that its similiar to a Sharan. Chipped a few of these before in diesel form.
