Looking For Bike Parts Shops

Heya all.

I've been looking for parts for my Honda NC-30 for a while. I've checked in with a few places, but options are limited. Does anyone have any recommendations on shops I can check out for quality new or 2nd hand parts?

Cheers :o

lol thank you Geoff ;P I'm really not that fussed actually. I'm in Bangkok atm, but I don't mind getting things sent around :D I suppose I just need a place to start that's reliable, so I can open a dialogue with the shop :o

This isnt going to sound helpful but back when I had a NC29 (CBR400 Gull arm) parts were real easy to get even here on Phuket, all the local bike lads even down to the tin shacks could source parts for it. Whether those were new consumables like chains and brakes, or second hand bits (I had a 2nd hand condensor IIRC)..

One of the good things about Honda here is there are bits about.

Is there something specific your failing to find or just in general ??

If Red Baron doesn't have what you need PM me for the name of a shop far out of town. The guy has a wrecking yard - similar to the size of Red Baron's barn.

If you don't mind me asking - what sort of parts are you looking for?

A HD Rider helping out a Honda rider ! :o

Our reputations as tattooed, beer-bellied, big mustached, hard drinking, womanizing, no good for nothing bikers might be sullied if word ever got out ! :D

(3 days until I get to hear what my new pipes sound like !) :D

To the gentleman who said he had a NC29 Gull Arm. I would bet you had a NC30 which had the numbers filed off to match the recycled green book. VFR400.

This NC29 CBR400RR they claim has a gull wing SHAPED swing arm but it's not clear if it's single sided or not.

Nope... NC29 gull arm CBR400RR AKA BabyBlade.. IIRC the post 91 NC29 was the first one give the 'fireblade' moniker and the first fireblade on the market before the 900rr.

Loads of them in Thailand.. The VFR is actually much rarer and obviously has the single sided swing arm. Few people would be making a real NC30 and 'downgrading' its paperwork to the common NC29.. The VFR and CBR are quite different looking bikes especially with the distinctive swing arm on the VFR.

IMG_2001.jpg Yep, it's an NC-30 :o

Aye, well atm I'm looking to replace both my levers. The clutch lever is bent from a fall I took on the track and I want an adjustable brake lever, because the one I'm using has very little adjustment, and as it is vibrations can cause the a locking nut to loosen, causing the span of the lever to shorten dramatically. End result = reduced braking power without me realising till I squeeze the brakes :D

I'd be keen to get some entry-levelunits that are adjustable, and don't cost as much as a brand new mobile phone =\

I was looking at these but my model isn't listed as compatible.

Jeez. With a name like Kerry D I envisioned you are a young thin blonde model type. :o Riding a Segway perhaps?

:D Guess you never looked at my profile !

I used to ride this:

Now that is a spare for what I ride now:

Yes & that's a VFR 400. Bad ass bikes. Developed for the Isle of Man TT. Awesome pulling power in any gear at any revs.

The chain drive cam shafts are incredibly noisy.

I think it screams "class and style" and if the Village people in the Northern regions ride Harleys, more power to them!
Not quite the Village People to whom I was referring. Note the upper case 'V' & 'P'.  :o Edited by RusticCharm
