While I can read Thai I have absolutely no idea where this is in relation to Bangkok and how I would get there from Bangkok.

So some directions in English would be useful.

rama 2 then phetkasem rd, go towards ratchaburi and nakon pathom, turn right into nakon chaisri.

the museum is on phutthamonton soi 8. house no.100 , moo 2

Is that U-boat real?

Oh, do you mean he's got one at last? I had to smile when the one he bought in Europe sank as it was being towed eastwards. Obviously he hadn't understood that this is what subs are designed for.

But to be serious for a moment, is this place really worth seeing? I hear that it has bathfulls of bubble cars, stations full of fire engines and a London double decker bus. And recently, a host of automotive tat from Chiang Mai amongst which there is just one car of interest, an NSU Ro80 with original Wankel rotary engine.

But is there anything else of any importance to make a visit worthwhile?

Hi :o

He's got at least one Zuendapp "Mokick" 517 type50cc motorbike, i think a GTS. That alone would make the trip worthwile for me, but he even has a Zuendapp "Janus" car, those are SO rare!

Best regards.....
