SOURCE: Pattaya One News: August 11th 2008

Drunken Woman jumps off building following argument with Boyfriend.

On Monday Morning, Police and Rescue Workers were called to an Apartment Block in Soi Town-in-Town Hotel, Central Pattaya following reports of a woman jumping off one of the buildings in an apparent attempted suicide.

At the scene, rescue workers attended to Khun Amporn aged 27 who sustained suspected spinal injuries following her fall from the 2nd floor of the building. She was rushed to Hospital and was accompanied by her boyfriend, Khun Virapon aged 23 who informed Police that the pair were having relationship problems and an early morning argument on Monday, culminated in the woman drinking heavily and jumping off the building.

She is now under close observation and Doctors tell us they suspect she has suffered serious spinal injuries which may affect her mobility for the rest of her life.

not much chance of dieing jumping from the 2nd floor ,just some bruising or a broken leg

thats what she thought probably as well :o

Fortunate for Khun Virapon that the police are too lazy and incompetent to do any investigation. :o

If she does end up paralysed for life what are the chances of:-

1. khun Virapon (23) looking after her?

The choices are:-

None and <deleted> all.

2. the police thoroughly investigating the incident?

The choices are (as Briggsy points out):-

None and <deleted> all.

It depends how they count the floors. If the 1st floor is ground floor as in US buildings, then it's only 3 meters or so...but if head first, it could easily kill.

Thailand probably has some of the best science on how many floors up it takes to kill someone!

I hope the poor lady makes a full recovery.
