Last Week Went to immigration Soi 5 Jomtien to report address was told and given a sticker on passport that from now onwards I will need

1. copy of house papers or lease or rental agreement

2. a street map showing where property is

3. bills for electric water or other utilities

I was told this is now a reqirement and has to be done every reporting time. Any comments ???

Pattaya Saturday night special - how many people here have utility bills in there name? It seems to be a new requirement by that office - not by Immigration.

I agree lopburi my lease is in my lady'name and all the bills telephon water electric in the house owners name??

On our house in Chok Chai the house in in my wife's name (she took my surname), the electric is in her name (what a nuisance that was changing from her maiden name), the water is still in the previous owner's name (my wife bought the house 7-8 years ago).

All I can say is take what they ask for, whatever name is on it. The more paper the better.

I would bet a dollar to a doughnut they will do no more than glance at it, if even that.
