BOY VICTIM OF THUGS OR DRUGS ?

Three thieves forced breaking into a woman‘s house where her 10 year old son was sleeping. The angry thieves had thrown a rock to break the house window and caused the big rock to hit and injure badly on the leg of the sleeping child.

On August 17th, at 02.10am, Pol.Lt.Col. Chalermkiet Sirimak, Dongtan station, was notified of a robbery that the thieves had tried to break into a house, and a sleeping child was seriously injured. The incident was at house No. 40, Soi Theprasit 5, next to Rattana Café, Moo 11, Nongprue, Banglamung, Chonburi.

Inside the concrete bungalow house with a broken window, police found a 10 kilograms rock, with a bloodstain, was on a bed. The young boy, Ronakorn Amphaikoon or Nong Dream, a 10 year old injured victim, had already been taken to Banglamung hospital for treatment. Police rushed to the hospital and found the boy who sustained a deep wound on his left leg, cut to the bone. He was crying with serious pain. Doctors had given him an X-ray and treated the wound while his mother Miss Aree Namthip (26), was watching worriedly.

Miss Aree explained to the police what was happening to cause her son injury. She said, while she was sleeping with her son and two other grandchildren in the house, someone had come on a motorbike to knock on her door. She did not open the door but asked them through the door who they were. An offender answered that he was a noodles delivery. Surprisingly with the answer as the voice was not familiar, she then yelled out to question that who ordered Noodles and refused to open the door. That had made the offender angry and tried to break into the house and forced opening the window.

Unexpectedly, the suspect had thrown a heavy rock through the window and it accidentally went straight to Nong Dream's leg. The other two suspects had forced opening the door to come in and pointed a gun on her head and asked for money. She had given them 1,050 Baht and they had ridden on the motorbike away.

According to the investigation, Miss Aree was giving the information, around in circle, saying that she did not know the suspects, but had recognized that they used to rob other people in the same Soi. However, police assumed that Miss Aree should have known this group of suspects very well and been hiding the truth. Police would investigate Miss Aree again thoroughly, in order to find the information to arrest the suspects very soon.
