1 Entry Visa To Canada

Featured Replies

ii tried emailing the immigration office, well.. his answer was quite douchy. basicly he doesnt want to answer any of my questions.

i have to take a trip to canada this winter, i want to bring my gf and my kid.. hes gonna be canadian so theres no trouble. but she doesnt have an income under her own name nor money in her bank accounts anymore.

She has a business with her sister, but from what she wants to tell me, her name isnt on it. and all the money goes into her sister's account which she has a card for.

on the documentation required for visa, it says to put proof of income.. but she's the mother of my child and we're gonna crash at my parents.. (i also dont have a proof of income just a thai bank account with a little money)

Can anyone recommand something? id like to go there asap since i need to start working on my business right away and have no intention in forking 75$ for 'processing fee's when they wont even tell me if that situation is fine, if i need to send it by mail or bring it for her if i hit bangkok...

Do work or live in Thailand? If you can prove that you must return this will help in her favor. That will probably one of the strongest factors to help her get the visa. My husband(Thai) had 180 baht a day job, but I am a teacher and had to return and showed proof of this. I believe this is what swayed them, that plus his hour long interview in which he was honest about how he loves his family and his mother is dependent on him and how he does not want to live in Canada.

The best advice I can give is go in as prepared as possible. Get letters from her sister, saying she pays cash in hand. That she has agreed to let her have time off. I dont think money is a huge factor, but if she does not have a bank account now is the time to open one. Have your parents right a letter that says they will be providing you with room and board. Show that you have enough funds to support all of you for the rest of the expenses. Show proof of your relationship, of course your son is pretty good proof of that. Anything that ties her to Thailand is what she needs to show.

Good luck!
